Just when you think the worse

We all have those moments that take us into a prison of our own thoughts. Why as humans do we punish ourselves with such negativity, as if there are not enough critics in this world that surround us? Why then do we feel the need to bash our own heart and soul. Tears produce and the enemy whispers and mocks. As long as I can remember this is the same old tune that carries out! Isn’t it amazing that at that moment I am encouraged to open my bible app and read the verse of the day.  It happens to pierce my heart like an arrow on a completed mission. Here is what I literally just read, “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” -Isaiah 41:10.  I am quickly reminded of the power I carry because of what HE has already done for me. I hear “ENOUGH”, I wipe my tears, perk up my shoulders, turn on music by Hillsong United and get to work. Almost instantly my soul is renewed and I am ready to conquer. It is so important to focus on the bigger picture and understand that there is indeed purpose for your life, for the air that fills your lungs, for the magnificent things that must be accomplished before you leave this broken world. Don’t just live day to day trying to connect the dots, step back look at your connected picture, then return to your dot in life with ambition and greatness and move forward. Sure you will have hiccups, who doesn’t, but know that moving forward you will refuse to give up or go back to your already connected dots. There is surely no meaning to go back, it is said and done. Forgive yourself and make it your life mission that no matter what you will continue to pursue your goals. Let the sunlight shine through, smile more and give more! Here’s to the best year yet!
